Melodic Rock

So what counts as Melodic Rock? Well for me it's built of guitars, keyboards, hooks and catchy lyrics. Often the topic is about love and broken hearts. It can be soft and it can be hard.

Melodic rock is closely tied to melodic hard rock and AOR, or adult-oriented rock. Many fans point to strong vocals, big choruses, and polished production as their preference.
